I want to take this morning devotion to say a prayer to You Lord at this time.  I want to pray to You Lord, that You Place Your Healing Hands on everyone going through this winter storm right now.  I pray that You Heal everyone going through the frustrations, the pain, the impact of this cold weather.  So many people are impacted by this storm that has hit us, and so I pray to You Lord, for Your Guidance and Healing.

 

I pray for those that have no power, that their power be restored soon.  Just imagining being in a cold house without any working heat is definitely not a great image, and so I pray to You Lord for those people, that You Guide them... that their power and heat may be restored soon.  I pray to You Lord for those that do not even have a shelter to be in during this time, that Your Healing Hands guide them to find a shelter soon, that they may warm up in.  For them, I also pray to You Lord that You Guide them to receive food that will keep them warm as well.

 

I pray to You Lord during this morning devotion, for those people who have suffered through car accidents through this snowstorm as well.  I pray that You Lord, heal those that were injured whether lightly or more severely.  Place Your Healing Hands over them Lord, Heal them, Guide the doctors to heal them, that they may make a full recovery as well and can get back to living normally or as close to it as possible again.

 

Lord, I also pray to You for comfort for those who unfortunately lost someone during this snowstorm as well.  Though the number of lives killed in this bad weather may not be high, the fact that people lost their lives still is sad to see.   And so, to You Lord, I pray that You Place Your Hands in Comfort over those people who have lost a loved one, a friend, a co-worker, and that You Heal them emotionally and mentally.  Allow them to cope slowly with the loss, and to know that You Have Better Plans for those who passed on, and that You Are Right There Comforting those who have passed away as well.  My deepest sympathies to those people for their loss.

 

Lord, I thank You as well for keeping us safe.  I thank You Lord for keeping my brother safe where he is, given he received even more snow than I saw here.  I thank You Lord for Keeping us all warm in our homes, Keeping us safe from injury, Keeping us blessed with food on our tables.  I thank You Lord for everyone who has these simple blessings to which often get taken for granted.  I pray that You Continue to Be Patient with us Lord, and that You Guide us and Bless us each day with food on our tables, shelter to stay out of the storms, clothing to stay warm, and family and friends to spend the time with.

 

Lord, I just thank You Always for Your Generosity, for Your Love, Your Grace, Your Blessings, and Your Very Presence and Sacrifice.  I am humbled always at Your Works, and I just want to thank You Greatly for Your Blessings.  I pray that all who read my morning devotion this morning are Blessed and Thankful to You for ALL that You Are, and ALL that You Do Lord.  Humbled and forever grateful to You Lord.  God Bless everyone.  In Jesus Name, Amen.
