Often in our lives, we tend to be so busy with the hustle and bustle of all around us, that we don't often tell God, "Thank You God For Everything in my life". And yesterday at church, the topic of the sermon was based around Thanking God. Just take a moment and sit back and think about all the times that you've given God Thanks, versus all the times that you may have let the day go by, or where you asked or complained more than you gave God Thanks. I'm sure you've heard this saying at least a thousand times, and indeed, God Works In Mysterious Ways. It is very true! If you sit back one day and do a Google search for testimonies of how great God Is, I'm sure you'll find many of them. And the thing is, God Is Always Working in our lives! Often, especially in these days we live in now, I tend to hear the question "Is God Real?" from various sources. Online, you can easily find more and more people questioning God's Existence altogether, as comments are flooded across social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook at people who believe God Exists. If you are reading this blog right now, I thank you, and I also want to say a prayer for safe travel for you at this time. I pray for all of you not just for now, but for every day that we live. I pray for traveling mercies for every one of you venturing out each day, whether driving or flying to work, to visit someone, or just to take a leisurely drive to your local Best Buy or otherwise. In this life we live, you just never know what can happen during travel. And while we sometimes take for granted the smallest thing such as a drive to your local supermarket, you honestly never know what can happen while traveling. I know many of you have heard of the phrase Jesus Take The Wheel perhaps from the Carrie Underwood song. Others may have said the phrase simply out of the text that things are going rough in their lives at this time and that they need the Lord to Intervene, to help them with what's going on in their lives. However, to me, this past Thursday, October 8th, 2015, the phrase "Jesus Take The Wheel" couldn't have meant more to me than it did, both metaphorically and literally. I periodically go through news pages to see what the latest news is. Often, I find your usual Yahoo news articles that relate to the latest studies on why chocolate isn't good for you, and how the next week it is good for you again. I tend to find a lot of studies done on certain lab rats and so on. But it saddens me on those occasions like today, when I come across senseless shootings that occur, especially in places you don't want to hear them happening, such as a church or in this case, a community college campus in Oregon. With God all things are possible... I know that you've heard this phrase before I'm sure. I've heard it time and time again, especially with growing up around my mom and with my grandmother who was my spiritual inspiration (rest her soul). I know I've heard it, and I've heard people testify again and again to it, and when you think about the words, the phrase is very powerful. God Is Good, and I want to just give Him the Glory now for ALL of His Works in my life and in the lives of those around me.
